About
Hi, I’m Teresa Segovia—
Founder, lead designer, and the heart behind
Teresa Atelier.
I started by designing pots—sculptural pieces first in concrete and later in ceramics. As I looked for plants to inhabit them, I found myself increasingly drawn to nature itself. That curiosity moved me from pots to plants, into full garden design, and eventually to a floral workshop with Gabriela Salazar. There, I fell in love with flowers and with the idea of telling people’s stories through them.
With six years of experience, and training from McQueens Flower School in London and under Anne Vitchen in Paris, I approach every design as an art form. I’ve also had the privilege of learning from Wagner Kreusch and Emily Thompson, whose perspectives have deeply shaped my work.
Soon after, I took a leap of faith and designed the flowers for my own wedding—a profoundly meaningful experience that reaffirmed why I do what I do: to create beauty that carries emotion, memory, and connection.
